And the Holidays are OVER!

I am so sorry that it's been such a long time since I posted, but the end of last semester and then heading home to New Jersey and DC tired me out! I apologize in advance for this sounding like one of those year in review holiday letters where I update you on how all the kids are doing in school and how the job is going, all tied up nicely with a lovely family picture in front of the beautifully decorated fireplace. Since I have none of those things, this should be much more interesting. Humor me for just a minute......

The end of the semester went really well...lots of great feedback from my professors, no calls from Oprah yet, but I'm doing well. By the way, I can't believe that she's giving up just like that! 25 years and she's throwing in the towel. I think that she is just sick and tired of waiting around for me to get rich and famous. Whatever! I don't even like her that much anyway. Besides, I have the Barbara Walters' 10 Most Interesting People of the Year interview to look forward to.....so suck it Oprah!

Anyway, it was wonderful to get home and see everyone during my break. Although it was a short visit, I still got to see a lot of you that missed and love. But, now I am back in the UK and very happy to be getting back to my normally scheduled programming. I never thought that I would say that, but it's a relief to not be living out of a suitcase.

One of the best parts of going home was getting to spend some quality time with my new nephew, Cass (Danielle's baby boy). Well, he is not related, but I love him like he was my own already....Congratulations Dan, you and your new family are such a blessing and I am honored that I could share in your joy!
